Not that this group of "everyone" consists of very many. I know it has been ages since I've shown my face around here, and I dont expect I have very many people still paying attention to my account - if there were many from the beginning anyway. Ha!
Well, after my camera was stolen, I was going to try to stay a part of the dA community, but as time went on, I know this sounds selfish but I know everyone has probably felt this at one time or another, it got depressing. All these amazing photographers I looked up to, watching their work, wishing I could be at that level... and knowing that there would be no progress without my camera - my soul.
When someone holds a true passion for photography, they will feel souless without their camera - I'm sure you could relate. I've felt this for almost a year now. Just dead.
Well folks, I still dont really have a camera. Unless this one that my friend was disposing of and decided to give me instead actually qualifies. I guess it's slightly better than the digital I started with, only in megapixels... AND HEY! It's a camera - it takes pictures. Photography is about the eye, not the equiptment... right? (Though you all have to admit, having a decent camera does help) Anyway... weather this qualifies or not, I would expect to start seeing some more work submitted soon.
Also unfortunatly though, right now I'm in Vegas (TEMPORARILY)... not the greatest scenery in my opinion. Never been one for the dry weeded over desert. But I'll make it work. And I've always got The Strip - sure there's some great oppertunities there...
Anyway, if anyone is still watching, thank you for reading! Cant wait to get back into the community and start watching everyones work again!
